Special Education Intervention Specialist

Position to begin 2025-2026 school year
QUALIFICATIONS
-Must possess special education certification/licensure through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, a bachelor’s degree or above.
-Experience with and working knowledge of Ohio and Federal Special Education Law, Academic Content Standards, and Ohio’s Graduation Pathways
-Must demonstrate a desire and ability to establish and manage a positive classroom environment.
-Highly qualified in English and/or Math would be a plus.
-Must be a positive team player.
-Be familiar with the IEP process.
 
GENERAL DUTIES
-Successfully provide IEP services for a full caseload of students
-Serve students on a 504
-Take ownership of your students
-All paperwork that accompanies an IEP student on your caseload; it is your responsibility.
-Setting up meetings in a professional manner

SALARY & CONTRACT:                     
-Appropriate placement on Southern Hills CTPD teacher salary schedule for 182 days.    
-Includes professional, sick, and personal leave, and insurance.
